As a regular on Ronnie Kovach's Radio Fishing University on AM 830 KLAA, Steve has been amazing listeners with his universal knowledge for years.

As an all-around fishing enthusiast, Steve has caught over 200 species of fish in both fresh and saltwater, ranking him second in the world. Whether he is fishing for trout in a stream or pursuing big game marlin off the coast of Mexico, Steve is known as one of the most versatile fishermen in the world.

Congratulations to Ronnie Kovach who has just been awarded a brand new IGFA World Record for catching a 98 pound Amberjack in the East Cape region of Baja California.

Ronnie’s huge “AJ” was caught on 20-pound test Berkley Big Game Hi-Test mono, loaded on an Abu-Garcia 7000iHSN reel and a Fenwick Inshore Rod.
