Bonito Recipe
Yes!! The Bonito are back and they are very good to eat!!
 
Here is a great recipe from the galley crew of the Freelance, Davey’s Locker Sportfishing, Newport Beach.

Fresh 3" bonito chunks, seasoned with garlic salt, garlic powder, coarse black pepper (do not use powder black pepper, it will burn)

Melt margarine (butter will burn) on a hot grill.

Cook sliced raw onions for a few minutes, then add the seasoned bonito chunks.

To keep fish from getting dry, add lemon juice and/or more margarine as fish starts to cook, only 5 minutes at most till done.
