Teams up with LA Angels Flagship KLAA AM 830

Ronnie Kovach and KLAA AM 830 radio station are excited to announce a multi-year agreement to broadcast the “Radio Fishing University” on this 50,000 watt mega station effective Saturday, June 30, 2007. Ronnie Kovach’s radio show is one of the longest-running programs in the Los Angeles metroplex – by far the nation’s most competitive radio marketplace. KLAA AM 830 is the flagship of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball team as well as the newly crowned Stanley Cup victors, the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL.

“This is an incredible milestone,” notes Ronnie Kovach. “Our show will arguably double in audience size just by being affiliated with the Angels and the Ducks!” KLAA can easily be heard as far north as Bakersfield and deep into San Diego County to the south. Over fourteen years ago, when the RFU was launched in the southern California demographic, it soared to Arbitron #1 out of 85 competing stations. It has remained the leader in audience share in the weekly Saturday morning time slot! KLAA plans to cross-promote Ronnie’s show during live Angels broadcasts!

Broadcasting every Saturday morning from 5:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M. now on KLAA AM 830 Radio, Ronnie Kovach’s Radio Fishing University features some of the West’s foremost fresh and saltwater fishing personalities as weekly guests while sending a strong message for planetary stewardship and prudent conservation.
